Pattern emerging - 6 print dresses and skirts to wear now
This season I have hand-picked a range of print dresses to suit different looks, colourings and occasions - from florals to geometric, graphic and animal. Customers can sometimes be cautious of an all-over print - don't be! Whether it's statement or subtle, there is a print to suit everyone - here are my top tips on how to wear them well..

Our Ichi summer print dresses were a sell-out and the new season collection is proving just as popular! This beautiful, flattering olive green chiffon dress from Ichi (Ichi, Inger dress, £49) comes with a self-tie belt to cinch the waist and sheer, full-length sleeves (great for those who like a bit of arm cover!). Great paired with tights and this season's suede ankle boots (see similar here: Boots, Ash, £175).
Shirt print dresses are huge this season, worn with knee-high boots for a 70s luxe look. Yolk yellow is one of the key colours for autumn too, making this dress a brilliant on-trend buy. If you're worried about a shirt dress with a larger bust, simply layer one of our Rosemunde vests (£56) underneath and leave the neckline open. Pair with one of their ribbed polo-necks come winter to really extend your wear out of this dress.

The floral print on this 100% silk Aki dress from Baum und Pferdgarten (Baum und Pferdgarten, Aki Dress, £259) has got a really nostalgic, romantic feel to it. The integrated tie at the neck makes it feminine and the gold and silvery tones are great for warming up winter skin. Pair with ankle boots and metallic accessories for a pretty, vintage feel. This micro floral print from Ichi is great for those who shy away from bigger, bolder designs (Ichi, Grace dress, £65), wear it now with bare legs, socks and trainers, then layer up with this season's biker or hiking boots and a cosy cashmere mix cardi when the weather cools (Rosemunde, Laica Cardigan, Dark Blue £135)
Brand-new for AW19 is London womenswear brand, Emily + Fin. I fell in love with their graphic, retro designs and knew this knee-length, fitted tea-dress style would be perfect for autumn (Emily + Fin, Amy Dress, £99). It has a beautiful drape to it, with semi-sheer sleeves and a lined bodice and skirt. Beautifully made and perfect for events this season. Accessorise with our beautiful silver bracelets from Sence Copenhagen (Clover bracelet, £45).
If you're print-shy, opt for separates like this new arrival from Emily + Fin (Faye Midi Skirt, £65), it's a really flattering shape that accentuates your waist, skims hips and the beautiful hand-drawn illustration is a joy to wear. Pick out the rich emerald green in your accessories and pair with a skinny poloneck (£45, Rosemunde), biker jacket (see below) and black knee-high boots.

A classic leather biker jacket is the perfect pairing for a print dress. Toughening up florals and a great cropped length to balance out proportions of a midi or maxi, just add your favourite trainers to finish the look.
