Our first ever Five Six Blue blog post – hoorah!

We can’t wait to share with you our love for some truly wonderful brands, both national and international. With so many fashion trends out there, it can be daunting knowing where to look…which is where Five Six Blue comes in.

From our favourite brands, we have lovingly hand-picked key pieces which we feel every style-conscious woman should have in her wardrobe. Each piece is tried on for size and within the description of each item we provide styling notes and an honest account of size and fit. What some brands call ‘tailored’ is another brand’s ‘casual-fit’ and we’d like to make sure that you know that sort of stuff!

OK, so what brands can you look forward to seeing this season?

Charli – Think ‘chic’ and ‘urban’, Charli offers a contemporary range of must-have wardrobe choices for the modern woman.

DL1961 – Denim - they live and breathe it! Versatility at its finest, their denim is carefully crafted from advanced fibres that move 360 degrees so that there’s no saggy knees for you. It’s not just science; it’s a way of life.

Duffy –Launched in the fashion capital of New York, Duffy offers a mix of effortless style driven by comfort and luxury. Their summer range includes delicate knitwear and beautiful linens so you look amazing no matter what the weather.

Ichi – This range can be summed up as playful and pretty. The botanical prints are strong this season and their Scandinavian styling works from day to night (even if you don’t!).

Marie Sixtine –We love their soft hues and soft fabrics. Their French styling means that you can enjoy compliments about how lovely you look, whilst you swish around in beautifully tailored garments.

Minimum DK – A Danish brand with no escaping that Scandinavian ‘cool’ which flows effortlessly through their stunning prints and clever styling. Classic pieces are given a twist, be that sheer panelling or a cheeky side split, Minimum brings the fun into fashion!

Patrizia Pepe –Think ‘rock chick’ but with a modern confident woman slant to their pieces. Italian tailoring in striking colours and cuts – these are statement pieces with a vibrant energy.

Rosemunde – Rosemunde promotes its Scandinavian values through beautiful shapes and romantic, feminine pieces. Their lacy tanks are a must for layering and can transform even the plainest outfit into something very special. We are literally collecting them in every colour!

Vilagallo – Vibrant prints are so on trend right now and Vilagallo with its Spanish roots paves the way for using print to perfection in beautifully tailored pieces.

Sence Copenhagen – We don’t just love clothes, we have a passion for accessories and jewellery too! Sence Copenhagen is a young and vibrant jewellery brand taking inspiration from the latest trends to craft beautiful statement pendants and scarves.

Pranella – An exciting British brand sourcing semi-precious stones from across the globe and then creating stunning handmade pieces from their base in Newcastle. Their scarves are soft and stylish and will finish off your summer outfit a treat!
